Tobi Karim

Tobi joined Ancala in 2023 as an ESG analyst.

Before joining Ancala, Tobi worked as an ESG and sustainable finance consultant for two years at an advisory firm. Prior to this, she was a researcher at University College London (UCL), where she conducted a study on innovation ecosystems for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Tobi also worked on the OVERCOME project, aimed at creating technological applications for community resilience to climate hazards.

Tobi has expertise in sustainability thought leadership. She has produced research on decentralised renewable energy systems for the Overseas Development Institute and most recently collaborated with the High Meadows Institute on a briefing note entitled ‘Financing a Low-Carbon Economy: An Investor’s Guide to Leveraging Transition and Net-Zero Financing Strategies’.

Tobi holds an MPA in Energy, Technology and Climate Policy from UCL and a BA in International Relations from Queen Mary University London.
