Ancala welcomed its largest ever turnout of investors at this year’s Annual General Meeting, held last week in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The event offered a deep dive into Ancala’s performance and the opportunities driving the firm’s continued success. Investors heard from Ancala team members across the business and portfolio company CEOs.

A key highlight of the presentation was a roundtable featuring portfolio company CEOs and Ancala Industry Partners, which explored how to build resilience in the face of volatility.

Following the presentation, investors visited Hausheld, Ancala portfolio company and Germany’s largest independent smart metering platform, for a smart metering experience. The Hausheld leadership team presented the significant and unique opportunity within the German smart metering market and explained how the platform has been built into a unique one-stop solution serving all major market segments. The company has already installed more than 100,000 meters and has secured orders to install a further 500,000. Guests were also able to view the hardware, technology and installation equipment in action.

During the event, investors were treated to a mix of German fine dining and more traditional local cuisine, including bratwurst and altbier, giving investors an authentic taste of the region.

The Ancala team were honoured to see so many investors in attendance. This year’s turnout was a significant record for Ancala and further demonstrates the strength of Ancala’s relationships with its investors and the trust they place in the firm’s differentiated approach.

We are already looking forward to next year’s AGM!
