Ancala’s decision to become a signatory to UNPRI underlines its commitment to applying the Principles of Responsible Investment to its investment practices.
Founded in 2005, the PRI is the world’s leading proponent of responsible investment. It works to understand the investment implications of environmental, social and governance (‘ESG’) factors and to support its international network of investor signatories in incorporating these factors into their investment and ownership decisions. The PRI acts in the long-term interests of its signatories, of the financial markets and economies in which they operate and ultimately of the environment and society as a whole.
Spence Clunie, Managing Partner at Ancala, said:
“Consideration of environmental, social and governance factors is integral to our investment approach. We are therefore delighted to formalise our commitment to responsible investing by becoming a signatory to the UNPRI. These principles will continue to inform the way in which we approach our investments and manage capital on behalf of our investors.”
