He joined Ancala in 2019 and, in addition to leading the team, sits on the boards of many of Ancala’s portfolio companies, working closely with the management teams to develop and deliver business plans. At Ancala, Ashley has worked on a number of key initiatives in portfolio companies and developed strategies to mitigate portfolio level risks.
He has over 15 years of operational and financial experience. Prior to joining Ancala, Ashley worked at Serco in a variety of financial and commercial roles, including the Skynet PFI and a contract with the European Space Agency to provide its IT infrastructure. Before that, Ashley worked at Deloitte in Audit and Restructuring Services and served for six years in the British Army as a Commissioned Officer in the Royal Gurkha Rifles.
Ashley is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and holds a MA in Geopolitics, Territory and Security from King’s College London and a BSc in Anthropology from UCL.
